# Request: Move Working Group categories as sub-categories of new Working Groups category

Hi folx!

We have a lot of categories on this forum. Diversity of discussion topics is good! But I think it’s overwhelming given the current levels of activity on the site. Could some of the existing categories be consolidated as sub-categories of the _Working Groups_ category?

I nominate the following categories to be consolidated:

- [Governance](https://discourse.sustainoss.org/c/governance/9)
- [Community](https://discourse.sustainoss.org/c/community/11)
- [Sustainability Models](https://discourse.sustainoss.org/c/sustainability-models/8)
- [Revenue Models](https://discourse.sustainoss.org/c/revenue-models/13)
- [Licensing](https://discourse.sustainoss.org/c/licensing/6)
- [Maintainers Health](https://discourse.sustainoss.org/c/maintainers-health/14)
- [Corporate Contributions](https://discourse.sustainoss.org/c/corporate-contributions/12)
- [Resource Management](https://discourse.sustainoss.org/c/resource-management/10)

Moving these as sub-categories of _Working Groups_ would make the home page a little easier to navigate for me, and might make the purpose of the existing categories more clear.

This is now done. All of the pre-existing Working Group categories are added as sub-categories to the larger Working Groups category. I also added some other more generic categories and moved past discussions around to new categories if it made sense to do so.
