The Digital Public Goods Alliance (DPGA) is hiring for an experienced community manager, who will support source project-owners as they go through the review process to become a digital public good. This position is hired through UNDP for a role as part of the DPGA Secretariat. Itβs a full-time, 12-month contract.
This person will have the opportunity to foster and build a community of DPG product owners by creating virtual spaces for the community to connect, collaborate and share. Endorsed by the UN Secretary-General, the DPGA is co-hosted by UNDP, UNICEF, and the Government of Norway. The Alliance is a multi-stakeholder initiative with a mission to accelerate the attainment of the sustainable development goals in low- and middle-income countries by facilitating the discovery, development, use of, and investment in digital public goods.
Min. Education requirements
An advanced university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or in other relevant areas. A first-level university degree with 2 additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the Masters degree.
Min. years of relevant work experience
Minimum of 2 years experience of relevant professional experience in open source community coordination or related community coordination.
