If you are involved with Free/Open Source projects related to Sub-Saharan Africa, you may be interested in this work by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD).
To determine how to better support these digital commons, AFD is launching a census of digital commons in Sub-Saharan Africa. The objective is to better understand these resources, their importance, and the functioning of their communities… AFD wishes to involve as many experts and practitioners as possible in this survey, the results of which will be made public and available to other actors.
