Notes were extremely useful. Question that (seems) were not asked:

  1. Forking is the Open Source mechanism against “abandonement”, so was it studied, accounted for?
  2. GitHub doesn’t show forks, and doesn’t have the mechanism to vote for fork that has more trusted/validated patches. Are we living in the age where GitHub limitations dictate the research outcomes completely ignoring that major OS dists are not using it?
