Participants needed for an design workshop to improv OSS usability!

Hello! My name is Jazlyn - its my first time posting here, so nice to meet everyone! I am a part of a team of researchers from McGill University and Polytechnique Montreal conducting studies to understand and support usability of free, libre and open-source software (FLOSS).

We are holding a design workshop-based study (3h & 60CAD compensation) where participants will work together as a team to create the conceptual design of a tool that will improve the process to address usability of FLOSS. We are looking for participants who are (1) developers who contributed code to FLOSS, (2) designers who contributed to the design or usability of FLOSS, and/or (3) end-users who have provided feedback at least once.

If you are interested in participating, please fill out this form: Microsoft Forms. Let me know if you have any questions!

Not sure why this was closed!

@jazlynhellman This looks great. When is the date that you’re ending the study? How long can people participate?

Thank you for opening it back up!

We are still recruiting and the end date of the study is likely within the next couple of months depending on how the research progresses and the levels of interest we receive. If you have more questions, I’d be more than happy to answer them!
