During the 2018 Summit, I heard Revolution OS come up a few time. It got me thinking, it would be awesome if we could get J. T. S. Moore to direct/produce a documentary around Open Source Sustainability.
A half-baked idea, just putting it out there to see if this would be something worth pursuing.
I don’t dislike this idea but:
If you look at it from a story-telling point of view: the second arc of the storyline is only half complete. We had the rise of proprietary software, the breakout, rise and now (arguably) fall of open software. But you don’t have the equilibrium being regained and a resolution to the current situation (and story arc).
IMO we should finish writing the story, then we can document it
