Before stepping down as lead maintainer, he created a pull request: Add/link Homebrew Governance document.
At this time it isn’t merged but I look forward to reading the GOVERNANCE.md
What are your thoughts?
I think it is great that Homebrew is documenting its governance. Having an elected project leads introduces more democracy, which has its up sides and down sides.
I see documented governance to be increasingly important. For the CHAOSS project, I recently started an effort to create a Community Handbook, which is inspired by the Handbook from GitLab.
